Pictu has passed 40 paying users, according to a post on X by Tuvia. Tuvia said the app had remained around 30 users for a long time before clearing the 40-user mark.

Tuvia described 40 paying users as a small milestone and said Pictu is now targeting 50 users. The post did not provide revenue figures or a timeframe for the period near 30 users.

Pictu's website lists Starter at $19.99 a month for 150 tokens, Growth at $99 a month for 1,000 tokens and Premium at $239 a month for 3,000 tokens. The company says users have generated more than 250,000 images through the platform.

Pictu is a Shopify app for bulk AI product-image generation and editing. Its Shopify App Store listing says it launched May 23, 2025, and was published by a developer based in Jerusalem, Israel. The listing shows a 4.8 out of 5 rating from 26 reviews.

Photoroom's AI Listing Assistant is another Shopify app in the category. Its listing says merchants can import product catalogs, create visuals in bulk with AI tools and export them to Shopify; it has a 4.1-star rating from 33 reviews. Paris-headquartered Photoroom, founded in 2019, raised a $43 million Series B in February 2024 to expand generative AI photo-editing features for businesses.
