Editorial Policy

Every story is labeled as Staff News or Company News. Staff News is written by our newsroom. Company News is written by the company it is about and carries that company's byline. The label shows who wrote the story. It does not mean the company paid.

We report from sources we can check, including public records, company announcements, filings, interviews, and data. We credit other publications when their reporting leads us to a story.

We do not copy another publication's writing or use images without permission. Companies cannot pay for Staff News coverage, and their promotion spending does not decide whether we cover them.

A company must claim and verify its profile before it can submit Company News. Submissions must be factual news about the company's own business, and the company must have the right to publish it.

We review Company News against our publishing standards. We may return or reject misleading claims, attacks, spam, plagiarism, or content the company does not have the right to publish. The company remains responsible for the accuracy of its submission.

Companies can buy Publishing Power and Story Boosts. Publishing Power strengthens future stories and sets a company's position on the Company Leaderboard. A Story Boost gives one story extra ranking strength for a limited time.

Paid features buy distribution, not coverage or approval. They cannot place a story in Most Read or prevent a correction. Links in Company News use nofollow, whether the company has paid or not. Refund terms are in our terms of service.

Top Stories balances a story's starting strength with freshness. Publishing Power applies when a story is published. A Story Boost applies to the chosen story. Ranking strength fades over time so new stories can rise.

Latest is ordered by publication time. Most Read is ordered by measured readership and cannot be bought.

We may use AI to help find information, organize source material, or prepare a draft. The newsroom remains responsible for Staff News. Company News written with an AI tool follows the same rules as Company News written by hand.

Email us if a published story contains an error. If the correction is material, the newsroom updates the story and adds a public correction note. Companies cannot change a published story themselves.

To request a correction, email support@gobignews.com with the story URL, an explanation, and a source we can check.

Go Big News is operated by Adnovation Technologies LLC. If Staff News covers a company connected to our operator or newsroom, we disclose that relationship in the story. Paid distribution does not decide Staff News coverage or change a story's label.
