Squad co-founder Thibault Louis-Lucas, who posts as Tibo, said the service added $3,300 in new monthly recurring revenue during its first 24 hours. He disclosed the result in a September 4 post on X, one day after announcing the product.
Tibo reported more than 10,000 visitors to Squad and more than 1 million impressions for the announcement. He described Squad as a bootstrapped team competing against xAI.
An attached dashboard covering September 3 to September 4 showed 11,000 visitors and $3,288 in revenue. It also listed a 0.34% conversion rate, $0.30 in revenue per visitor, an 84% bounce rate and an average session of 59 seconds. The dashboard connects the launch’s traffic, conversion and revenue figures.
Tibo announced Squad on September 3, saying its AI teammates connect to customers’ tools, retain context and complete scheduled work. He framed the launch against Grok Bot, which he said xAI had released a few weeks earlier, and called xAI Squad’s biggest competitor. Go Big News reported on the launch on September 4.
Squad costs $99 a month and includes a seven-day money-back guarantee and cancel-anytime terms. Customers supply plans from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or SuperGrok, and Squad says it charges no additional per-task AI fees. The service lists more than 70 integrations, including Gmail, Slack, Notion and GitHub.
Tibo also said many people joined Squad’s partner program, but gave no count. The company describes the program as an affiliate offer paying a 20% share for one year.
Squad’s other co-founders are Bhanu Teja Pachipulusu and Sai Dheeraj Pachipulusu. Tibo said the brothers built the underlying architecture for a year as MissionControlHQ before the group spent two months improving it. He had been a paying MissionControlHQ user since May 2026 before joining Bhanu and Dheeraj on distribution and product. The company says MissionControlHQ became Squad in August 2026.
