Meta adds voice and real-time video to Muse, its personal agent, and plans to bring it to AI glasses for hands-free conversations, Mark Zuckerberg said in a September 24 post on X.

The update puts a voice interface and real-time video alongside Muse’s ability to work during long conversations. In its Connect 2026 recap, Meta said the agent can complete work in the background while a user is still speaking.

On glasses, Muse will be activated by saying its name, according to the recap. Meta said it can respond to what a wearer sees, including a product on a shelf, a flier on a wall or a school supplies list.

Users will be able to adjust Muse’s voice by describing a preferred pace or accent. Meta also introduced Muse Realtime Avatar, an interactive avatar built on Muse Realtime Voice, and announced computer use on Mac, a Muse email address and Muse Charm, a pocket-sized Muse device with details due later in 2026.

For Meta, the update adds a glasses interface to an agent already offered across its apps and desktop software. Meta’s Family Daily Active People averaged 3.60 billion in June 2026, up 3% year over year, a user base Muse can reach through Meta’s apps.

Meta said it will offer more than 100 AI glasses styles by year’s end across Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta-branded lines.

Muse is currently available through the Muse app, WhatsApp, the web and a Mac desktop version. Meta said the glasses integration is coming soon, without a date or regional rollout.

Go Big News reported on September 9 that Meta had launched Muse as a personal AI agent.
