On Sept. 15, 2026, Apollo said it became an official launch partner for Hunter, Salesforce’s outbound sales agent, at Dreamforce in San Francisco. Hunter is in pilot and is planned for general availability in November 2026.

Apollo said Sales Cloud customers will be able to choose it as a data provider within the product without signing a separate Apollo contract. The arrangement puts Apollo’s prospecting data inside Hunter as Salesforce prepares the agent for wider release.

Salesforce describes Hunter as an AI outbound sales agent for prospect research, outreach, deal progression, proposals and forecasting. The product tracks work over time and coordinates approved actions as customer information and priorities change, according to Salesforce’s Hunter product page.

The Apollo connection covers seven actions: Company Search, Company Enrich, Person Search, Person Enrich, Person Enrich with Mobile Phone, News Enrich and Job Posting Enrich. Apollo said its database contains 240 million contacts that will be available inside Hunter.

Salesforce Vice President of Product Management Rohan Punamia said the integration gives Salesforce customers access to Apollo’s prospecting data and signals for revenue growth. Salesforce also lists ZoomInfo and Demandbase as Hunter data vendors through its Data Vendor Gateway, alongside Apollo.

Apollo says it serves more than 600,000 companies worldwide and claims a 98% email accuracy rate. The company was founded in 2015 by CEO Tim Zheng and CTO Ray Li. In August 2023, Apollo raised a $100 million Series D led by Bain Capital Ventures at a $1.6 billion valuation, according to TechCrunch.

Apollo announced the partnership in a post on X, with additional details in a company release.
