Raindrop says it has raised $50 million in total funding from CRV and Lightspeed, alongside a Series A announcement and the launch of Raindrop Simulations. Co-founder Ben Hylak announced the Series A and product release in a post on X.
Raindrop’s Series A announcement says CRV led the round, with participation from executives and researchers at Anthropic, OpenAI and Thinking Machines. The company lists Zubin Koticha, Ben Hylak and Alexis Gauba as its founders.
Simulations runs on every pull request, replaying production traffic and existing test cases against proposed agent changes, according to Raindrop’s blog post. It applies the company’s anomaly detection to identify unexpected behavior changes before deployment. Raindrop lists Simulations as being in early access.
In press coverage of the round, CEO Zubin Koticha said agents now run for hours, call thousands of tools and handle real money, real health data and real customers. When an agent fails, he said, it can do the wrong thing convincingly at scale until someone notices.
Raindrop’s site displays customer logos including Vercel, Speak, Clay, Framer, AngelList and Tolan. In separate coverage, Vercel AI engineer Bani Singh said the team sees build failures and agents stuck in loops through Slack.
Raindrop was founded in 2023 and is headquartered in San Francisco. It went through Y Combinator’s Winter 2024 batch. The company previously announced a $15 million seed round in December 2025.
