OpenRouter has added TypeSafe AI’s Jev in beta, the company said in a post on X. Its Jev 1.13 listing has a September 18, 2026 release date, a 32,000-token context window and pricing of $0.042 per million input tokens, with output tokens priced at $0.
Jev is designed to answer typed questions about an application’s state with structured decisions and attached probabilities, rather than produce conversational text. OpenRouter said the model removes the need for a JSON prompt, a parsing layer and validation of generated output.
That format targets software that needs a decision returned as a value, rather than a sequence of generated tokens. TypeSafe AI calls Jev its first System One Model and says it produces its outputs in one query with confidence scores.
TypeSafe AI introduced Jev on September 15 in early access through a waitlist. In its launch post, the company said end-to-end responses take 70 to 500 milliseconds and described that range as 40 to 200 times faster than comparable frontier models.
OpenRouter’s provider page lists 21.7 billion tokens processed for Jev 1.13. The company describes itself as an AI gateway with access to more than 500 models from more than 80 providers.
TypeSafe AI emerged from stealth on September 15 with $40 million in seed funding led by DCVC. It was founded by CEO Diogo Almeida, Erik Gafni and Sasha Sheng, and is headquartered in San Francisco.
OpenRouter was founded in April 2023 by CEO Alex Atallah and CTO Louis Vichy and is headquartered in New York. The company agreed to be acquired by Stripe for $7.5 billion in August, as Go Big News reported.
