MOZN and Microsoft have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore AI, cloud technology and digital-transformation opportunities in Saudi Arabia.

MOZN announced the agreement in a post on X, which said the MoU sets out potential areas for mutual cooperation but did not provide the full list. The company did not disclose financial terms or name specific projects.

The agreement pairs Microsoft with a Riyadh-based company that builds enterprise AI products for financial institutions and the public sector. MOZN says it serves more than 150 customers across financial services and the public sector, including banks, fintechs, electronic money institutions and payment companies.

MOZN was founded in 2017 by Dr. Mohammed Alhussein, its founder and CEO, with co-founders Dr. Khaled Al-Ghoneim, Abdullah Alsaeed and Malik Alyousef. Its FOCAL product covers KYC, anti-money laundering and fraud management, while OSOS is an enterprise knowledge intelligence platform.

The company has previously signed technology MoUs or partnerships with Oracle, Google Cloud and Red Hat. On August 3, 2026, HUMAIN made a strategic investment in MOZN and partnered with it to co-build enterprise AI products for financial crime prevention, knowledge intelligence, and governance, risk and compliance.

In January 2026, FOCAL was named a Category Leader in Chartis Research's RiskTech Quadrant 2025 for AML Transaction Monitoring and KYC Data and Solutions. MOZN did not say when work under the MoU could begin.
