Flalingo has launched its AI Speaking Coach on Product Hunt, beginning with a two-minute spoken assessment. The company said in a post on X that the tool is aimed at learners who understand a language but hesitate to speak it.
The coach provides real-time voice practice, explained corrections and pronunciation feedback, according to the announcement. Its Product Hunt listing says users take the assessment before entering practice dialogues that return feedback on grammar, phrasing and pronunciation.
For language-learning operators, the launch adds an automated speaking-practice product alongside Flalingo’s existing one-on-one online lessons. The company’s core service matches learners with certified native-speaking tutors and also includes FLAI, an AI learning coach intended for use between live sessions.
Flalingo’s AI Speaking Coach page says the initial voice evaluation places users from A1 through C1. Feedback reports cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and fluency. The page lists six coach characters: Prof. Arthur, Leo, Maya, Mila, Sofia and Zoe. It also says the app supports 12 languages on iOS and Android.
Hayreddin Tüzel is named as the maker and founder on the Product Hunt launch page, which identifies the release as Flalingo’s third product launch on the platform.
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Palo Alto, California, Flalingo says it has served more than 200,000 students through over 700 teachers. The company says users have completed more than 500,000 courses, and it reports a 98% satisfaction rate and a 4.9 out of 5 rating from 710 Google reviews. Flalingo won the Language Learning Innovation Award in the 2024 EdTech Breakthrough Awards program.
