Arlequin AI said in a September 10 news release that it raised €28 million in Series A funding to develop topological neural networks for complex, high-stakes decision-making. The Paris company said the financing will support development and international deployment of its technology.

redalpine and OTB Ventures co-led the round. Bpifrance’s Defence Innovation Fund participated, while existing investors Vsquared Ventures and 10x Founders increased their stakes. Xavier Niel and ZEBOX also joined the round.

Arlequin cited geopolitical uncertainty and European sovereignty in announcing the financing. The company says its topological neural networks learn from connections and relationships among data, with the aim of retaining traceability to source evidence.

Its platform analyzes relationships in documents, transactions, video and operational information, Arlequin said. The company listed security and defence, financial-crime investigations, information integrity, cybersecurity and AI-system security as potential uses.

Arlequin was founded in Paris in 2024 by Hugo Micheron and Antoine Jardin. In June 2025, the company said it closed a €4.4 million seed round led by Vsquared Ventures, with 10x Founders, Kima Ventures, Better Angle and French private investors participating. In that announcement, Arlequin said its platform was deployed in three European countries and supported public institutions, public and private media including Radio France, and private corporations including BNP Paribas.

The company said the Series A will fund expansion of its international model-development team and commercial deployment. It has offices in London and Berlin and plans an AI lab in Silicon Valley.
