WaveAlign has crossed $20,000 in revenue and is exceeding expectations of $3,000 a month, according to a post on X by co-founder Maxim Osipovs, who uses the account @maosi100. Both figures are Maxim's own, self-reported in his post on X.
The company sells audio loudness-normalization software for DJs. Its software standardizes track volumes across a music library using the BS1770 LUFS standard.
WaveAlign works with rekordbox, Serato, Traktor Pro, Engine DJ, VirtualDJ, Algoriddim Djay Pro and Mixxx. It supports WAV, AIFF, MP3, M4A (AAC) and FLAC files on Windows 11 or later and macOS 11 or later.
The product is sold as a one-time purchase rather than a subscription. Its site lists a €49 launch price and a regular price of €79, alongside a 14-day money-back guarantee. WaveAlign says more than 7,000 active DJs have used the software since its beta phase.
Osipovs is a DJ and software developer based in Düsseldorf, Germany. He has a background in pharmacy and nearly 10 years as a corporate strategy manager, and went full-time on WaveAlign in 2026 while freelancing as an AI-supported process optimization consultant.
WaveAlign operates in a DJ loudness-normalization category that also includes Mixed In Key's Platinum Notes. That product is a $98 one-time-purchase tool that standardizes volume levels, repairs clipped peaks and works with Serato, Rekordbox, Traktor, Ableton, Denon and Virtual DJ.
