Ashutosh Singh said VengeanceUI crossed 1,100 GitHub stars in August. He reported the milestone in a Sept. 8, 2026, recap on X that also noted his passing Google Summer of Code final evaluation with Sugar Labs.
GitHub listed 1,125 stars and 103 forks for the public Ashutoshx7/VengeanceUI repository as of Sept. 8. The TypeScript repository was created on Oct. 15, 2025, and is available under the MIT License.
VengeanceUI provides animated React components for marketing websites. Its catalog lists 74 components, including hover effects, animated tooltips and scroll-driven layouts designed to work with React and Next.js.
The project distributes components through a registry compatible with shadcn. Developers can install them from a GitHub registry URL or configure a VengeanceUI namespace and add components by name. Its website also lists two open-source portfolio templates and one open-source blog template.
The project uses Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, GSAP and shader-driven effects. VengeanceUI says it is intended for frontend developers, independent builders and teams creating interactive marketing pages.
Singh’s GSoC final report covers Sugar Activity on Demand at Sugar Labs from May 2026 through Aug. 24, 2026. The report says he built Sugar Activity Studio and lists five tagged releases, from v1.0.0 through v1.4.0. It names Walter Bender and Ibiam Chihurumnaya as mentors and records the GSoC work as complete.
In the same August recap, Singh said he passed an LFX evaluation, made about 357 GitHub contributions and began building something he had wanted to work on for years. He did not identify that project. His GitHub profile separately lists a 2026 LFX mentorship with Caracal.
Vercel selected VengeanceUI for its Winter 2026 Open Source Program cohort. Vercel says selected projects receive $3,600 in platform credits over three years, along with third-party service credits and community support.
