TablePlus said in a post on X that version 26.10.14 adds full theme support. The company called it its most visually refined release to date, citing fine-tuned colors throughout.
Its macOS changelog, dated September 14, 2026, says the app supports custom themes and includes four built-in options. It also lists major Query Editor improvements and bug fixes intended to improve speed and stability. The X post said the release fixes many long-standing bugs, though the captured text cuts off before the full list.
The post gives the version as 26.10.14. TablePlus's macOS changelog lists the September 14 release as version 26.10.16, build 794, and no 26.10.14 entry appears on its macOS, Windows or Linux changelog pages.
The prior macOS release, version 26.10.0, build 776, arrived September 1, 2026. It added an ElasticSearch driver and SQL Server Entra ID login support.
TablePlus is a native graphical database client for creating, accessing, querying and editing relational and non-relational databases. It supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Microsoft SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB, Oracle, BigQuery, ClickHouse and TursoDB, among others. Its homepage says it is trusted by more than 100,000 developers worldwide and displays logos including Microsoft, Adobe, AWS, PayPal, Tesla and Harvard University.
Entrevestor reported that founders Henry (Huy) Pham and Joe Nguyen moved the company to Halifax, Nova Scotia, through Canada's federal Start-up Visa Program and set up at The Labs at Innovacorp near Dalhousie University. Nguyen told the publication that the company competes in a crowded database-tools market by improving execution on established functions, with the United States as its primary target market.
Tracxn lists TablePlus as unfunded, with no disclosed venture rounds, and ranks it 107th among 271 tracked database-management-software competitors. In a company comparison of database clients, TablePlus cited a $59 one-time license price at the time of the post, compared with Navicat pricing of $299 to $1,299 and DataGrip subscriptions of $8.90 to $19.90 a month.
