Jonathan Leibiusky has launched CitePeek, a service priced at $95 that audits how a business appears in ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Perplexity. In a post on X, Leibiusky said customers provide a business URL and receive recommendations and ready-to-use prompts intended to improve visibility.

CitePeek says the $95 price covers two runs: an initial audit and a re-run 45 days later. The company says the price will rise to $120 and that the service has no subscription.

CitePeek's site says its reports include three comparative scores, from 0 to 100, for brand mentions, citations and market share. The report also examines competing sites that are cited instead and provides a ranked action list with implementation briefs and drafting prompts for the four AI assistants.

CitePeek enters a category often called generative engine optimization, or GEO, and answer engine optimization, or AEO, which focuses on brands being cited and recommended in AI-generated answers rather than ranked in traditional search results. Profound, one of the better-funded companies in the category, has published industry estimates projecting that by 2028, $750 billion in U.S. revenue will flow through AI-powered search, while only about 16% of organizations systematically monitor how they appear in AI-generated answers.

Profound has raised a $20M Series A led by Kleiner Perkins in June 2025 and a subsequent $35M Series B led by Sequoia Capital. Other named competitors include Peec AI, Otterly AI and AthenaHQ.

Leibiusky's GitHub profile describes him as a New York-based software engineer and indie hacker who has held roles including Head of Research at MercadoLibre, CTO at Iúnigo, Director of Engineering at Wildlife Studios and CTO at Mantika. Before CitePeek, his Product Hunt maker profile listed AudioBites, launched in July 2023, and Vault, launched in May 2017.
