Tsenta said it crossed $250,000 in monthly recurring revenue on Sept. 9, up from roughly $15,000 when it entered Y Combinator about 12 weeks earlier. Co-founder and CTO Pulkit Gupta disclosed the figures in a post on X, putting the latest run rate at $3 million annualized.
The announcement came one day before Y Combinator’s Summer 2026 Demo Day on Sept. 10. The event gives startups an invite-only audience of about 1,500 investors and media. Tsenta’s Y Combinator profile separately says the company reached about $3 million annualized in three months.
Gupta said creator partnerships became Tsenta’s largest growth channel. The company focused on creators whose audiences trusted them for career advice, offering upfront fees and affiliate payments that continued after referred viewers became paying customers.
Many partnerships reached Indian expatriate communities that Gupta and co-founder Agnay Srivastava belonged to, according to the post. Users reported problems with job matching, applications and résumés. Gupta described a cycle in which Tsenta launched a campaign, gained users, identified and fixed problems, then started another campaign.
Reddit posts, creator material and Tsenta’s own content also moved the company from pages 5 through 7 to pages 1 and 2 on Google for many of its target searches, Gupta said. Tsenta used paid advertising to amplify creator videos that had already generated engagement, clicks and conversions.
Founded in 2026, Tsenta describes its product as an AI career agent that matches users with jobs and applies on their behalf. Y Combinator lists Srivastava as founder and CEO, Gupta as founder and CTO, and the San Francisco company as a two-person team. Its profile says more than 90,000 job seekers use the product and that the founders developed it after submitting more than 3,000 applications themselves. Tsenta offers monthly plans priced at $19, $39 and $99, along with 25 free applications without a card.
