Treble Technologies has raised $18 million, approximately €15 million, in a Series A-2 round to expand its acoustic simulation and synthetic audio data technology.

Paladin Capital Group, KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures and the EIC Fund backed the round. Treble announced the funding in a post on X and a company blog post.

The funding gives Treble more capital to target physical AI and robotics products that need to process sound. The company develops tools for simulating acoustic environments and generating synthetic audio data, with the aim of giving those products a sense of hearing.

Treble said the new financing brings its total funding to date to €36M. It plans to use the money to expand in the US market and the broader physical AI sector, with a focus on audio-enabled consumer and enterprise products.

Co-founder and CEO Dr. Finnur Pind said audio and voice interaction is becoming a fundamental interface for the next generation of intelligent products, while the physical world remains acoustically complex. Paladin Capital Group Vice President François Ruether said Treble’s platform is designed to help physical AI models and robots combine visual and auditory inputs.

Treble says Amazon and Logitech use its platform to simulate acoustic environments. The company serves voice AI developers with synthetic training and evaluation data for speech enhancement and noise suppression; hardware manufacturers with acoustic prototyping tools; and physical AI and robotics makers testing products including smart glasses, wearables, automotive systems and drones.

Treble was founded in 2020 by acoustic engineers Dr. Finnur Pind and Jesper Pedersen. It previously announced an €11 million Series A round on September 3, 2024, led by KOMPAS VC, with participation from Frumtak Ventures, the EIC Fund, Omega ehf, Saint-Gobain and L-Acoustics.
