Nua, a Mumbai-based women’s wellness company, has raised $50 million in a Series C round led by Peak XV Partners and Filter Capital. The company announced the financing on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026.

Nua said it will use the capital to build its brand, expand its reach and distribution, strengthen R&D and develop new products. The round follows a February 2025 pre-Series C in which Nua raised about 35 crore rupees, or about $4 million, led by Mirabilis Investment Trust.

The Series C combines primary capital with secondary share sales. About $14 million was primary capital and the rest was secondary, founder and CEO Ravi Ramachandran told The Economic Times.

Existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures participated. Kae Capital, Lightbox VC and some angel investors received partial exits.

Ramachandran said Nua’s annualised revenue run rate rose from 100 crore rupees to 500 crore rupees in 24 months while the company remained profitable. Peak XV managing director Sakshi Chopra said Nua had become the second-largest online company in its category.

Founded by Ramachandran in 2017, Nua is a digital-first, omni-channel brand that sells period care, maternity care, skincare and everyday intimate care products. It sells online and in physical stores and also offers a Period Tracker app and SecretKeeper chat. The company said it serves more than 3 million women and girls each month.

Filter Capital disclosed the round in an announcement on its website.
