Marko Denic and Venelin have launched HostMap, a site for finding and comparing hosting for projects. Denic announced the launch in a post on X from an account with 267,402 followers.
HostMap describes its product as a way to compare WordPress, VPS, cloud, serverless, game-server, email, database and GPU hosting providers side by side. Its listings include provider specifications, pricing and user reviews.
The comparison tool covers nine categories: Cloud, Dedicated Server, Development, E-commerce, Email, Reseller, Serverless, VPS and WordPress hosting. It lists 57 hosting providers, with 12 shown per page.
Fortune Business Insights valued the global web hosting services market at $149.30 billion in 2025 and projected it would reach $178.76 billion in 2026 and $661 billion by 2034. The firm cited SME cloud adoption and demand for multi-cloud hosting as drivers of projected 17.80% annual growth.
HostMap enters a category with established comparison sites. WhoIsHostingThis, for example, compares providers on pricing, ease of use, support, features, security and speed.
Denic is a software engineer, content creator and community builder who founded Marko Denic Tech, through which he builds free developer tools and resources. He runs a weekly newsletter offering one practical tip every Saturday and, according to his site, has thousands of developers as subscribers.
HostMap's homepage does not name Denic or Venelin as founders.
