Trybe said $34.5 million in brand earnings was driven through the platform in August, about five months after its App Store launch.
The UGC advertising marketplace had reached 12,000 brands and 160,000 creators as of August, according to Dylan Harari, Trybe’s co-founder and chief revenue officer. Harari announced the figures in a September 17 post on X.
Creators earned $5.5 million through Trybe in August, Harari said, a 54% increase from the prior month. The company’s reported brand and creator figures offer a measure of activity on a platform built around performance-based UGC advertising.
Trybe connects brands with creators to produce advertising content. Its site says brands can recruit creators, manage submissions, launch Meta ads and automate payouts, while creators are paid based on performance.
The company charges a 1.5% commission on sales-based arrangements, 1.25% on ad spend and 1.5% on flat-rate creator payments, according to its site.
Harari said Trybe had 15 full-time employees as of the August announcement, with the team described as mostly engineering, and that it was hiring. The app is published under the legal entity Trybe Tech Inc.
Harari said the Trybe app reached No. 34 on the App Store’s Top Free Business Apps chart about five months after launch.
