OpenTweet, a social-publishing tool for X, has crossed $20,634 in total revenue, according to a post on X by founder Branko. He said the product has $3,643 in monthly recurring revenue and 223 paying customers.

Branko said he built OpenTweet for himself as a side project in December 2025 and began posting about it publicly in February 2026. He said the business has taken no advertising spend and no venture capital funding.

Branko also reported 80,000 published posts and 13,000 registered users to date. OpenTweet's website cites similar figures, saying the platform has handled more than 80,000 posts by agents and has more than 14,000 users.

OpenTweet offers posting and scheduling for X, along with an MCP server, REST API, command-line interface, AI content generation and connectors for RSS, GitHub and Stripe. Its MCP server provides AI agents with 43 tools for posting and managing X content; the platform also supports Bluesky cross-posting, X Articles and DM campaigns.

The Pro plan starts at $11.99 a month. Advanced costs $29 a month for three accounts and up to 100 posts a day, while Agency costs $49 a month for 10 accounts and up to 300 posts a day; both plans include a seven-day free trial.

OpenTweet names Typefully, Hypefury, Tweet Hunter, Buffer and Hootsuite as competitors. Branko is also building OpenReels and Krabb alongside OpenTweet.
