Raverpay said Sept. 11 that it had added US stock trading, US bank accounts and international payments to WhatsApp through its AI agent, Nkem. Founder Joe Stacks announced the launch in a post on X.

Nkem can buy more than 444 US company stocks, according to Stacks’ post. Users can buy shares including Apple, Tesla and Microsoft with naira from 1,300 naira, or $1, he said.

The WhatsApp-based service also aims to explain US stocks and the companies behind them to beginners. They can also receive US dollars from international clients and send US dollars globally through Nkem, Stacks said.

The announcement moves features already listed in Raverpay’s iOS app into a WhatsApp chat. The app listing describes dedicated US virtual bank accounts with routing and account numbers, incoming USD wire and ACH payments, and fractional US stocks and ETFs from $1.

Version 4.0.0 of the app, dated Aug. 31, lists dedicated US bank accounts and US stock and ETF investing from $1 among its updates. The listing also says users can convert USD to naira or send global USD transfers.

Users access Nkem through a link in Stacks’ announcement post, which opens a WhatsApp conversation labeled “Nkem from Raverpay.” Raverpay’s product page describes Nkem as a way to send money and buy US stocks on WhatsApp.

Raverpay Financial Technology Limited is a privately held financial services company founded in 2025 and based in Lagos, according to its LinkedIn page. The company describes Nkem as its conversational financial experience.
