Nuxaris said on Sept. 6, 2026, that CBTC is now live in its wallet. The post said users can bridge from Solana, Ethereum and Base to receive Bitcoin on Canton, then move it back out, without an institutional setup.

Nuxaris linked to its app at app.nuxaris.com and said additional routes would follow.

The company's website describes Nuxaris as a cross-chain bridge for Canton that is live on Canton mainnet. It lists a Nuxaris wallet for Canton, Phantom for Solana, and MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby and WalletConnect for EVM networks. The site says the bridge does not require a know-your-customer check and that funds are processed and forwarded rather than held. It also describes two settlement paths, a direct treasury swap and an exchange-routed path.

The same site still shows a "Request Access" waitlist. The Sept. 6 post did not say whether the CBTC routes are open to every visitor or limited to accounts that already have access.

BitSafe's documentation defines CBTC as a 1:1 wrapped Bitcoin token designed for bridging onto Canton. Its website says the asset is live in production and can be held in a Canton-compatible wallet, traded on 15 or more venues, or used as collateral. A BitSafe guide on how CBTC works says a mint begins after a Canton party obtains a credential and a deposit account, then sends Bitcoin.

BitSafe's homepage lists wallets that support CBTC. Nuxaris is not among the names on that list.

Nuxaris said new routes are coming soon.
