# Salesforce launches AIforce for AI interfaces

[Salesforce](https://www.salesforce.com) launched AIforce at Dreamforce on September 15, saying in an [announcement](https://www.salesforce.com/news/stories/aiforce-announcement/) that the interface layer brings its data, workflows, business logic, permissions, security and governance to AI tools.

The product is designed to let people use Salesforce data and workflows without opening the Salesforce application directly. It launches with Claudeforce, Slackforce and Agentforce Coworker.

The company said AIforce uses Zero Data Retention: business data can answer queries but is not retained by model providers. That approach puts permissions and governance alongside Salesforce data when it is used in other AI interfaces.

Claudeforce expands Salesforce's partnership with Anthropic. Salesforce in Claude includes 37 prebuilt sales skills, while a Salesforce Development plugin for Claude Code includes more than 40 skills. Salesforce in Claude is in pilot, with an open beta expected in September 2026, according to Salesforce's [August announcement with Anthropic](https://www.salesforce.com/news/press-releases/2026/08/26/salesforce-and-anthropic-announce-claudeforce/).

Slackforce brings Salesforce context into Slack through interactive real-time data interfaces, a Slackbot personal assistant, Slack CRM and Slack Code. Agentforce Coworker is a reasoning AI teammate in the Lightning interface that works across accounts, activity and history within established permissions and business rules.

Salesforce also named AWS, Google, Microsoft, Lovable, Vercel, Docusign, Gamma, Jasper and Rippling as partners. The company reported fiscal 2026 revenue of $41.5 billion, up 10% year over year, while Agentforce and Data 360 reached nearly $1.4 billion in annual recurring revenue, up 114% year over year.
