# ScrollLaunch founder says it hit $4,500 a month

[ScrollLaunch](https://scrolllaunch.com) hit $4,500 a month in September, founder Kalash Vasaniya said in a post on X. Vasaniya said he had been looking for a Product Hunt alternative in January and built and launched ScrollLaunch in April.

The revenue figure is self-reported. Vasaniya did not include a dashboard, invoice or third-party analytics in the post.

ScrollLaunch is aimed at indie makers and SaaS founders. It offers a weekly upvote leaderboard and a permanent product page. Its paid options are Free at $0, Premium at $19 per product and Premium+ at $39 per product, alongside advertising and newsletter sponsorship options. Vasaniya did not say how the September revenue was divided among those offerings.

The company’s About page describes Vasaniya as a solo operator who also runs SuperFast, SEO It Is and MakeItLast. It also lists 801 live products, 710 makers shipped and more than 8,000 upvotes cast. Those figures are undated page snapshots and may not reflect the September revenue milestone.

ScrollLaunch describes its product pages as built for long-term SEO and AI-answer discoverability, rather than a 24-hour traffic spike. The pages include structured data, dofollow backlinks and AI-readable markdown versions intended for answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude.

Product Hunt, the incumbent ScrollLaunch names as its alternative, was founded by Ryan Hoover in November 2013, raised a $6.1 million Series A in 2014 and was acquired by AngelList for $20 million in November 2016, according to Wikipedia. ScrollLaunch’s Product Hunt listing places it in the Startup communities category alongside GetByte, Product Front, MakerPeak, Owwly and Microlaunch.
