[OyaAI](https://getoya.ai) said in a Sept. 5, 2026, post on X that it reached $20,000 in monthly recurring revenue less than three months after its official launch. The post is the source of the revenue figure.

The reported revenue comes as companies expand their use of AI agents while watching operating costs. McKinsey’s 2026 global AI survey found that about 20% of respondents were scaling agents across their enterprises. About 20% also said AI operating costs, including token costs, had constrained usage.

OyaAI sells a hosted runtime for agents built with Claude, Codex or OpenCode. The company says its runtime compiles an agent’s plan once and connects values by reference instead of repeatedly returning tool results to the model.

The platform covers runtime, memory, gateway connections, skills, secrets and evaluations under one invoice. Its homepage lists 32 gateways and 96 versioned skills.

OyaAI charges $250 per live agent each month or $2,500 per agent annually. Drafts and offline agents are free, and metered billing per run is also available. A company comparison estimates that a self-assembled tooling stack would cost $1,590 a month.

The company’s [About page](https://getoya.ai/about) reports more than 6,000 active users, more than 3,367 OAgents built and more than 252,000 messages processed. It lists an average cost of $0.002 per run. Those figures are also company-reported.

OyaAI’s LinkedIn page says the company was founded in 2025, while its X profile lists San Francisco as its location. Ranjitha Raghunathan has identified Nick Smyth and Mohamed Alkiswani as her co-founders and said all three previously worked at Google.

The company also maintains an [open-source TypeScript library](https://github.com/OyaAIProd/oya) licensed under MIT by Oya Labs, Inc. The library, also distributed on npm as oyadotai, is described as the core of the hosted platform.

OyaAI said its next target is $100,000 in monthly recurring revenue. The company plans to publish the playbook it followed after reaching that figure.
