In a post on X the same day, the company thanked NYSE’s Eric Dimise and Johanna Grossman for displaying the financing. The proceeds will advance three clinical-stage medicines into later phases, bring more medicines into trials for inflammatory and metabolic conditions, and scale Enveda’s PRISM platform and automated lab, according to the release. The company’s pipeline includes ENV-294, an oral Phase 2 medicine for eczema and asthma; ENV-308, which has completed Phase 1 for metabolic health; and ENV-6946, an oral Phase 1 medicine for inflammatory bowel disease. Enveda said a Phase 1b eczema study of ENV-294 found average eczema-severity improvement of 85% after 42 days, with no serious side effects. Founder and CEO Viswa Colluru said the company uses AI to read chemistry found in living things. BioPharma Dive reported that Enveda’s approach identifies bioactive molecules from plants and microbes, predicts their structure and function, and ranks them for drug potential before chemists develop leads into candidates. Enveda, headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, also has an office in Hyderabad, India. It has raised more than $845 million since inception, the company said. TechCrunch reported that the financing values Enveda at $2 billion, roughly twice its valuation 12 months earlier.
