[SideShift](https://sideshift.app) launched Commission Ads for Meta and TikTok on September 23, 2026, CEO and co-founder Nick Lawton said in a post on X. The feature lets brands launch partnership ads through the platform and pay creators a percentage of ad spend or sales.

The launch adds an ad-payment option to SideShift’s creator marketplace, which its marketing material says has more than 800,000 Gen Z creators. The company says brands use the platform to source, manage, track and pay UGC creators across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

Lawton said SideShift had launched three things. He also named Audience Data, but the available text of the post stops after that feature’s heading. It does not describe Audience Data or identify the third launch.

Its site says 3,000+ brands are actively hiring through the platform and that $100M+ has been paid to creators so far. SideShift describes itself as a subscription-priced UGC marketplace, with plans starting at $299 a month, and positions the service for high-volume campaigns.

SideShift was founded in 2024 and is headquartered in New York, according to NetInfluencer. The company was co-founded by Lawton, COO Canyon Pergande and CTO Drew Levin, three University of Wisconsin-Madison graduates, according to Canyon Pergande’s LinkedIn profile.

CB Insights reports that SideShift has raised roughly $2.2 million across three rounds, including a Seed VC round in February 2024 backed by BullMont Capital and a $2.15 million convertible note round in November 2025. Lawton told NetInfluencer that the platform’s top-earning creators make between $10,000 and $20,000 per month.

The company announced the news in a post on X on September 23, 2026.
