# Please Cite Me launches SEO and AI-search scoring tool

[Please Cite Me](https://pleaseciteme.com) starts at $49 a month for a page-audit tool that scores pages for SEO and AI search. Yuma Okamoto announced the product for SEO consultants and agencies in a post on X.

The product uses two scores: a technical audit covering structure and crawlability, and a content audit covering answers and evidence. Its site lists SEO basics, fetchability, structured data and "AI clarity" among the dimensions it assesses.

The tool also creates PDF reports that agencies can brand before sending them to clients. Please Cite Me lists an annual subscription at $299, alongside its $49 monthly plan.

The launch targets a growing category of tools designed to help brands get cited by AI systems including ChatGPT and Perplexity. MarketsandMarkets values the Generative Engine Optimization market at $390 million in 2025 and projects it will reach $4.25 billion by 2032, with roughly 41% annual growth from 2026 through 2032.

Please Cite Me joins competitors with different target customers. Otterly.ai says its paid plans begin at $29 a month and that it serves more than 40,000 marketing professionals, while tracking visibility and citations across AI and search products. Profound targets mid-to-large enterprise marketing teams and agencies, and says a third of the Fortune 100 use its platform. Citeme.io offers agency plans starting at €690 a month, while Peec, Rankscale, RankPrompt and ZipTie also operate in the specialized AI-citation tools segment.
