Adobe confirmed on Sept. 2, 2026, that it had acquired [Rilo](https://getrilo.ai), an India-based marketing intelligence startup founded in 2025. The transaction involves licensing and a team acquisition, according to TechCrunch. Financial terms were not disclosed.

TechCrunch reported that Rilo is Adobe’s second acquisition from India. Adobe previously bought Bengaluru AI video startup Rephrase.ai in 2023, a transaction described at the time as its first Indian startup acquisition. Adobe also agreed last year to buy SEO optimization company Semrush for $1.9 billion.

Rilo disclosed the deal in a [company note](https://www.getrilo.ai/announcement) dated Aug. 24. The startup closed new signups and said its hosted app was no longer available. A source told TechCrunch that investors would receive an exit and that Adobe would integrate some of Rilo’s intellectual property with its six-member team.

Cofounder Dhruv Jaglan said Rilo would help existing users port their workflows. The Economic Times reported that Jaglan, cofounder Georgi Boby and the rest of the team will join Adobe. Jaglan said the team would work on bringing AI to Fortune 500 marketers.

Rilo’s product let go-to-market teams create custom workflows for competitor intelligence, content repurposing and distribution, and sales-call analysis, TechCrunch reported. Rilo also described AI agents for pipeline signals, investor tracking and content distribution. Jaglan said more than 10,000 users built on the product within months of its launch.

Jaglan and Boby, who were IIT batchmates, raised $1 million from Peak XV, DeVC and Day Zero Ventures at a $10 million valuation. Rilo team member Rahul Parmar said in a Sept. 3 post on X that the startup was joining Adobe less than a year after it began.
