[Ramp](https://ramp.com) is now live in the UK, its first major expansion outside North America, co-founder and CEO Eric Glyman said in a post on X. Glyman wrote that “UK finance teams have waited long enough” and added, “Sorry we’re late.”

The UK product includes GBP corporate cards, receipt capture and expense management, accounts payable and invoice processing, and global supplier payments. It also syncs with Xero, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

The company says its UK cards are issued by Stripe Payments UK Limited, an FCA-authorized electronic money institution. Cards in the EEA are issued by Stripe Technology Europe Limited under a Visa scheme license.

Ramp said the move follows its Canada launch announced in July 2026. Its March acquisition of Stockholm- and London-based payments platform Billhop gave it regulated payments authorization in the UK and EU, according to the launch release.

Jacob Wallenberg, Ramp’s VP of International Expansion, said the company built the product for the UK’s fast-growing companies. The company cited ElevenLabs and London-headquartered Attio as UK customers, alongside existing global customers Shopify and Virgin Voyages.

Ramp enters a market with established European spend-management providers. Industry analysis from Sacra says Copenhagen-based Pleo generated $150 million in 2025 revenue, up 33% year over year, and serves more than 40,000 European business customers. Sacra says Pleo reached unicorn status in December 2021 at a $4.7 billion valuation, but its implied valuation had contracted to roughly $1.7 billion as of mid-2026. The analysis also names Payhawk, Spendesk and Soldo as direct European competitors.

Ramp says it serves more than 70,000 customers globally and processes $200 billion in annual purchases. It says median customers achieve 5% expense savings and 16% revenue growth in their first year.

The launch also includes an AI token spend-management platform, according to Tech.eu. [Go Big News reported in August](https://www.gobignews.com/ai/ramp-steps-into-ai-infrastructure-with-model-switching-service) that Ramp had introduced a model-switching service for AI infrastructure.
