# NectarFi lists tokenized $BB shares

[NectarFi](https://nectarfi.finance/) has listed tokenized $BB shares issued by Backpack Securities, redeemable one-for-one for real shares, the company said in a post on X. Sunrise brought the shares to Solana, where NectarFi says they can be traded with fiat or stablecoins.

Solana Compass reports that Backpack Securities holds the underlying BlackBerry Limited (NYSE: BB) stock in custody. Each $BB token can be exchanged on a one-to-one basis for that share.

The listing adds tokenized BlackBerry equity to a platform that describes itself as built on Solana for fiat deposits and stablecoin holdings. Backpack Securities says it is building a securities platform to move traditional securities onchain, while Sunrise lists tokenized stocks and other assets natively on Solana.

TechBuild Africa reported that NectarFi is a self-custodial crypto financial platform for emerging markets, founded by CEO Felix Daniel and COO and co-founder Stephanie Okeke. The app combines fiat deposits, stablecoin accounts, trading, remittances, card compatibility and eventual credit access.

NectarFi closed a $170,000 pre-seed round in April 2026, according to Nairametrics. TechBuild Africa reported that, at the time of the funding announcement, the company had onboarded more than 1,000 users and processed over $7.2 million in transaction volume during private testing and access phases across Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil and Argentina.
