[Immediate](https://joinimmediate.com), a Birmingham, Alabama, earned-wage access company, raised $13 million in Series B funding, The SaaS News reported on Sept. 3, 2026. The report dated the round Sept. 2 and named BankTech Ventures as the lead investor, with Castle Creek Launchpad and BankSouth participating.

U.S. employer-partnered earned-wage providers advanced $22.8 billion through 214 million transactions to 7.2 million workers in 2022, according to a [Consumer Financial Protection Bureau estimate](https://www.consumerfinance.gov/data-research/research-reports/data-spotlight-developments-in-the-paycheck-advance-market/).

The SaaS News said Immediate plans to use the funding for product development, distribution partnerships, expansion in the employer market and a private-label embedded earned-wage access platform.

Immediate also announced the round in a [September 2026 post](https://www.joinimmediate.com/post/immediate-closes-13-million-series-b-led-by-banktech-ventures). The company said its platform supports more than 625 employers nationwide and had recently launched with two unnamed large U.S. enterprises.

BankTech Ventures has more than 120 bank limited partners, which Immediate said could provide relationships for distributing its private-label product through financial institutions. Alongside the Series B, Immediate expanded an existing working-capital facility with Always.bank but did not disclose its size.

Immediate describes itself as an on-demand pay provider and also offers cashless tips and off-cycle payments. The company says its platform has hundreds of integrations across payroll, time-tracking and point-of-sale systems.

The product is free for employers, according to Immediate. Employees can pay a flat fee for real-time bank delivery or receive funds through a pay card or next-day ACH at no charge.

Immediate was founded in 2019. Matt Pierce is founder and CEO, and Jason Gwizdala is CTO and co-founder.

PitchBook separately lists a completed $8 million Series B dated June 8, 2026, and says Immediate has raised $46.4 million in total. Its round record differs from the $13 million amount reported by The SaaS News and announced by Immediate.

In July 2023, Immediate announced a $16 million financing led by Castle Creek Launchpad, with BankSouth participating. That round combined growth equity and a working-capital facility.
