# Rivo reaches $8M ARR

[Rivo](https://www.rivo.io/) has crossed $8 million in annual recurring revenue, founder and CEO Stuart Chaney said in a post on X. Chaney said the company is 100% bootstrapped, profitable and has a solo founder.

Chaney described Rivo as a retention platform for Shopify Plus that works with brands including Comfrt, Ridge, Dr Squatch, True Classic, Chubbies, Thrive Causemetics, Princess Polly, Kitsch and Fenty. Rivo’s site says the platform has driven more than $1.5 billion in revenue for client brands and serves more than 9,000 brands, including Dr. Squatch, HexClad, Kitsch, Ridge and True Classic.

The $8 million figure follows a mid-2025 post in which Chaney said Rivo had passed $4 million in ARR and was growing 140% year over year.

Dr. Squatch moved its loyalty program to Rivo across multiple Shopify Plus markets, according to Rivo’s case study. Rivo says it is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has a fully remote, distributed team whose members previously worked at Shopify, Airbrake, InVision, GitHub, Retention.com, Yotpo, Sendlane and Shogun.

Rivo's loyalty app launched on January 18, 2021, according to its [Shopify App Store listing](https://apps.shopify.com/rivo-loyalty), which lists a Las Vegas registered business address. The listing shows 1,450 reviews, a 4.7-out-of-5 average rating and pricing from a free plan for up to 200 monthly orders to a $499-per-month Plus tier.

The App Store lists UpPromote Affiliate Marketing, Smile: Loyalty Program & Rewards and Appstle Subscriptions alongside Rivo. Rivo names Loyoly, Smile, Yotpo and Loyalty Lion as direct competitors, and says its differentiation includes Shopify Plus checkout-extension integration and a permanent free plan.
