# Tandem Health raises $100M Series B

[Tandem Health](https://tandemhealth.ai) has raised a $100M Series B led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, according to a [company release](https://tandemhealth.ai/resources/news/tandem-health-raises-100m-to-bring-european-healthcare-into-the-ai-era-led-by-the-scaleup-europe-fund-managed-by-eqt). Existing investors Kinnevik, Northzone, Amino Collective and Visionaries also participated.

The round brings Tandem’s total funding to $160M, following a $50M Series A in 2025. The Scaleup Europe Fund is an EU-backed vehicle targeting €5 billion, initiated by the European Commission and managed by EQT. Tandem is its first healthtech investment.

Tandem says its AI clinic operating system is used by 10,000+ care organizations across 14 European markets and reduces administrative time for clinicians by 29%. Its platform captures patient consultations, generates structured clinical notes and suggests diagnosis and procedure codes. It supports more than 50 medical specialties and integrates with more than 100 medical record systems, according to the company.

The company was founded in 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden, by CEO Lukas Saari, CTO Oliver Åstrand and CCO Oscar Boldt-Christmas. It was born in the Nordics and now operates in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and beyond.

“Europe should be setting the standard for how AI enters healthcare, not adopting someone else’s,” Saari said in the release.

Nils Petter Nygaard, described in the announcement as an investor representative, said Tandem could become a foundational AI layer for European healthcare over the coming decades.

Amino Collective, which joined Tandem’s seed round in 2024, said the company reached 10,000+ care orgs in 14 markets and 29% less admin time for clinicians two years later.
