# Crontap adds MCP endpoint for AI agents

On September 16, 2026, [Crontap](https://crontap.com) shipped its first Model Context Protocol endpoint, according to a post on X by Dan (@d4m1n). The endpoint offers 9 HTTP Schedule tools, 6 Uptime Monitor tools and 7 Heartbeat tools.

The [Crontap MCP](https://crontap.com/mcp) lets AI editors and assistants schedule HTTP requests, monitor endpoints and manage heartbeat check-ins. Users can create, update, pause and resume scheduled HTTP requests through the interface.

The service integrates with Cursor, Claude and Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex CLI, VS Code with Copilot, Devin Local and Gemini CLI. It uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, does not require API-key configuration and issues access tokens that expire after one hour.

MCP access is included in every Crontap pricing tier, from Starter through Custom. Resource limits are shared between the web dashboard and the MCP interface.

Crontap schedules recurring API calls and webhooks using cron syntax or plain English, with plans starting at $2.99 a month. Its homepage says the service is used by more than 1.9k teams and has millions of schedules running, while offering a free tier without a credit card.

Dan Mindru leads Crontap, which is built by a small team in Copenhagen, Denmark. The product is the flagship offering of Apihustle, a suite of eight developer tools that also includes Clobbr for load testing and CronTool for debugging cron expressions.
