Agent Orchestrator said on Sept. 10, 2026, that its open-source coding-agent project had crossed 11,000 GitHub stars. The project’s official account announced the figure in a post on X and reported more than 90 contributors.

GitHub listed 11,188 stars and 1,580 forks for the [agent-orchestrator repository](https://github.com/Untrivial-ai/agent-orchestrator) that day. Its contributor API returned 101 records, including anonymous authors and a bot. The repository was created on Feb. 13, 2026.

The figures provide concrete measures of interest and participation in the project. GitHub also listed 2,662 commits on the main branch, while Agent Orchestrator said people use the tool to build software every day.

The project’s README describes Agent Orchestrator, also called AO, as a desktop workspace for planning, running and supervising coding agents from one place. Git-backed workers receive separate branches and worktrees. A project orchestrator can divide work into tasks and spawn or redirect workers, while a live Kanban tracks sessions, pull requests, continuous integration and reviews.

The README lists 27 supported coding agents, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Grok. Desktop installers are available for macOS on Apple silicon and Intel, Windows, and Linux through AppImage, Debian/Ubuntu and Fedora/RHEL packages. The repository is written primarily in Go.

Prateek Karnal identifies himself as the creator of Agent Orchestrator and says he developed it while working on AI infrastructure at Composio. Composio announced and open-sourced the project on Feb. 25, 2026, initially through the ComposioHQ GitHub organization. The repository is now hosted by the Untrivial.ai organization.

The latest tagged release as of Sept. 10 was v0.12.12, published on Sept. 6, 2026. The project uses the Apache License 2.0, with a 2026 copyright notice for Untrivial.
